Business Registration Information

Everyday Bernardsville first responders respond to local businesses for emergencies. Some of these emergencies occur after hours and first responders are unable to contact the appropriate business owner and/or keyholder. The Bernardsville Police Department Business Registry was created for the purpose of maintaining a list of contacts for our local businesses to help us, help you in case of an emergency.
Businesses are requested to voluntarily register important contact information with the Police Department for use in the event of an emergency. If there is an alarm on the premise, we need to know that too. Please click on the image below for our easy online form.

Why register your business?

Emergency contact information is extremely important to the Bernardsville Police Department and assists us with notifying you in the event of an emergency at your business/property. We ask that you complete this form, which will be kept on file with the Bernardsville Police Department and update us with any changes in the information.

In addition to providing your business emergency contact information in this form,  borough ordinance 2021-1877 requires that all alarms which “alert emergency services upon activation” must be registered with the Police Department. Business and commercial property owners shall complete both forms. The alarm registration form can be found here.
